Common questions
Is there a minimum?
No. Lido pools deposits, so you can stake any amount of ETH.
Do you hold my tokens?
No. Your ETH goes into Lido’s contracts, and you hold stETH, a liquid token, in your own wallet.
How often are rewards paid?
Once a day, around 12:30 UTC — your stETH balance grows, after Lido’s 10% fee.
What happens if you go offline?
Any five of the cluster’s seven operators keep it signing. Downtime is never slashed; a missed attestation costs about what it would have paid.
Can I unstake at any time?
Yes. Lido’s withdrawal queue usually takes 1–5 days, without rewards meanwhile — or swap stETH for ETH at market price.
