Common questions
Is there a minimum?
No. Delegate any amount the chain itself allows.
Do you hold my tokens?
No. Your NEAR sits in the pool’s contract as your stake shares; only your account can unstake or withdraw it.
How often are rewards paid?
Every epoch — about 7 hours — added to your stake.
What happens if you go offline?
A standby node takes over. Below 90% uptime an epoch earns no rewards, and further down the chain removes the validator; stake is never cut.
Can I unstake at any time?
Yes. Unstaked NEAR unlocks at the fourth epoch change — 22 to 30 hours — and earns nothing while it waits.
